Quick fixes

Troubleshooting

Most issues clear up with one of these steps before you even need to email us.

🔄

Force-quit and reopen

Swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone, swipe SwipeTrack off the top, then relaunch. This fixes the majority of one-off glitches.

🆙

Update iOS & SwipeTrack

Make sure you're on the latest iOS and have the most recent App Store update. Many issues are addressed in patch releases.

🔁

Reinstall the App

If a problem persists, delete and reinstall SwipeTrack. Note: this will reset your local records and progression.

Frequently asked questions

SwipeTrack requires a deliberate downward swipe (roughly 0.5 cm or more on most iPhones). Quick taps and short flicks are intentionally ignored to prevent accidental input. Make sure you're swiping downward, and that your screen protector or case isn't blocking the very edges of the display.
Two reasons. (1) Wrong-side swiping: alternating left-right is required. Repeating a side bleeds 40% of your drive and resets your combo. (2) Stamina: the harder you push, the faster stamina drains. When stamina runs out, your top speed is capped — pace yourself, especially in 800m and longer.
SwipeTrack stores all progress locally on your device using iOS preference storage. Uninstalling the app removes that storage. iCloud-based save sync is on our roadmap.
Game Center achievements and leaderboards are planned for a future update. We'll announce them in-app and on this support page when they ship.
Yes — all races, NPCs and progression work fully offline. An internet connection is only needed for the global leaderboard.
Not at launch. SwipeTrack is built for iPhone first and we want to do iOS exceptionally well before considering other platforms.
Every race distance has its own global leaderboard. There are also leaderboards for top speed, maximum distance ran, and best average speed. Compete against runners worldwide.
Please email support@swipetrack.run with as much detail as possible. We read every message — feedback from real runners directly shapes the roadmap.
SwipeTrack uses iOS-standard "Edge Protect" so the very corners of the screen need an extra confirmation tap. You can also start your swipe slightly inside the screen edge for the most reliable input.
Because all gameplay data lives on your device, you can delete every byte of it by uninstalling the app. For email correspondence, write to privacy@swipetrack.run and we'll erase your messages.

Send us a note. We read every email and we genuinely love hearing from runners.
